Founding Story
Grow Africa Futures was born from a collective vision to address the challenges faced by Kenya’s youth and to harness the untapped potential within the agricultural sector. In July 2024, a group of visionary individuals with backgrounds in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community development came together. Fueled by a passion for transformative change and armed with a deep understanding of the critical role youth could play in reshaping the nation’s agricultural destiny, the founders saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between potential and reality.
The decision to establish Grow Africa Futures as an NGO stemmed from a commitment to address multifaceted challenges facing the youth and a belief that, by combining expertise and passion, the organization could be a catalyst for lasting change. At Grow Africa Futures, the youth are more than recipients of opportunities—they are architects of their success within a sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
